A native of Alexandria, Virginia, Dominique “Domo” Thompson is an educator, influencer, and creator who has spent over two decades mastering the art of transformation. His career is defined by a unique blend of technical precision and a deep-seated passion for making every individual feel like the most confident version of themselves.
DomosFaces’ journey began over 20 years ago in an unexpected setting: his high school’s musical theater department. When a production found itself without a makeup artist, Domo stepped into the role, utilizing leftover products and techniques he had observed from the women in his life to prepare the cast for the stage.
What began as a school project quickly evolved into a lifelong calling. DomoFaces refined his craft through dedicated self-study utilizing digital resources to perfect the architecture of the brow and the art of the blend and honed his skills while preparing his mother for Sunday church services. His reputation followed him through his college years, where he became the go-to artist for peers and staff alike.
